There are four main ways to add money into your account:
- Cash top-ups
- UK transfers
- International transfers
- Instant debit card top-ups
Cash top-ups:
Simply go to any Post Office or PayPoint location in the UK and hand the clerk your HandyBank debit card and the cash.
- Cash Deposits at the Post Office will arrive in your account the next day morning
- Cash Deposits at PayPoint are instantly available in your account

Money transfers:
To transfer funds into your HandyBank account from another bank, you will need to enter your HandyBank account number and sort code. These can be both found in the HandyBank app.

Instant debit card top-ups:
To instantly top up your HandyBank account by debit card, you will need to go into your HandyBank application and enter your debit card information. This can be found under 'Instant top-up'.
You can choose the amount and have up to 3 different debit cards added at any one time. The card must also be in your name and the funds will show up instantly.
Debit card top-ups are free of charge. Any foreign exchange will be done by the issuer of the debit card used. Please also note that credit cards will not work with this feature.
HandyBank is currently unable to accept cheques.
